There a lot of useful functions that are missing when working with python scripts. For example being able to terminate a python script while it is running. There are many ways of adding this into the script such as having the script open a new window, but no way to do it just with the code. This would be extremely helpful, since it wont require closing the entire spotfire program, just to stop a python script. Also having the python scripts save automatically when they run, and not have to save the entire project just to ensure that the python script will be there next time you open it.
