When configuring a text box area with a multi-select list box, you currently have the ability to "Set property value through: Unique values in columns". This works wells and as expected, but what would be a great additional configuration option is if you could select whether or not to honor the current filtering for the selected table. This could be similar to the "Include (None) alternative" check box below the preview window.
I had a recent use case where a selected list was being sent to a data function that was retrieving data from a production historian. The list box subsetted the query to only the columns of interest, but because it doesn't honor filtering it was possible to select parameters that did not exist for items higher in the filtering hierarchy. If this was a configurable option, than I could send the list to R and also use it to plot my specify subset of columns with $map function.
