Thanks for your contribution to the idea portal.
The principle we have is that we keep ideas in state "under consideration" as long as we agree that it would be valuable to implement them or some variant of them even if we aren't able to do it soon. We do implement ideas that are more than 3+ years old. Some of them are actively being worked on right now. Unfortunately we aren't allowed to make a public distinction between ideas that are likely to be implemented and ideas that are not so likely to be implemented in the near future.
Alll top voted ideas are actively considered in our agile planning sessions and we look for ways to address them. Even ideas with just a few votes are used in our planning because we group ideas together and use them to drive larger architectural and foundational changes in Spotfire.
