Custom Data Connector API Merged

We were told that Custom Data Sources are considered old technology and we should start using Data Connectors. But there seems to be no public APIs to create custom data connectors! Please provide a base abstract class CustomDataConnector that we can use to implement our custom connectors

Open Data Connector Framework

We should have an open connector framework so partners and we (as a field team) can properly develop connectors for new data sources. We should also have APIs that can manage connections.
