Improve added columns visibility

Why does Spotfire show the "ignored columns" instead of the "added columns"? In the ADDED column transformation? This is non-intuitive and makes it difficult to understand and modify.

 

Can this be changed to listing the columns that ARE included? Makes sense.

    Maybe it's the Data Table Properties > Source Information?

     

    I don't see the added columns, only ignored columns - see pic attached. 

    Is it because it's originally a 7.11 file?

     

    Info needs to be in the data canvas....

    Hi Thomas,

     

    Can you tell me where is the "Source View Information Pane"?

    • It's not in the Data Table Properties
    • It's not in the Data Canvas (as far as I can tell)
    • When I Search for "source view" I get nothing

     

    I hope that this is not the final answer, and that TIBCO will update this information everywhere it exists in the GUIs.

    Hi JP, in the Source View Information pane you should see both Added and Ignored columns listed when you select an Add Columns operation.
