The ability to apply coloring to both the text and the background of elements in a table-type visualization is very useful. The automated options (Spotfire categorical, Spotfire categorical, Blue categorical, etc) are also very useful and time saving, but often apply coloring choices that need to be modified manually. For example, yellow is one of the main colors applied and it doesn't work well on a white background. A dark blue background also doesn't work well with black text.
The idea would be to provide improved automated selections, to avoid the need to have to scan the table for color combinations that need to be modified. That would either involve adding more intelligence to the existing options to remove certain color combinations that don't work, or adding some new options in the list that are free from color combinations that don't work very well.
