Web Player Default View Mode To Editing

When a user with either a Business Author or Spotfire Analyst permissions opens a Spotfire library file in the Web Player the Default viewing mode is set to Viewing so they have to toggle to the Editing mode in order to interact with visualizations, etc. It would be nice for people with Business Author or Spotfire Analyst permissions to have Web Player files always open in the editing mode. This is not just for convenience, I have a lot of calls/emails from people thinking their permissions were taken away and I have to remind them to toggle on the Editing view so this would save a lot of heartache for people supporting Spotfire.

    I vote for this idea. Maybe save the state of the analysis. If the end user has no editing permissions, then set ad view only if the analysis state was saved as edit.

    We are also looking for similar functionality. it is possible to get this considered soon.
