The Data Canvas allows you to set data loading method on data source level.
The Save dialog provides a great overview of the same data loading settings and allows you to quickly change them before saving the analysis.
Automation Services should provide the same control over data loading methods. Today you can keep exisiting data loading settings or top embed all data.
