An early prototype of a smith chart exists in the prototypes section of the Spotfire Mods GitHub repository. It would be interesting to hear about any features that you would expect of a Smith chart.
The prototype uses a categorical axis for points and uses two continuous axes to represent the real and imaginary part. The points can also be colored via a color axis.
