Perceptually uniform color scales (Viridis, Magma, Plasma)

Perceptually uniform color gradients are both more intuitive for human brains to connect gradients to a color, and are more compatible with various forms of color blindness than are most of the color scales in Spotfire. I'm tired of manually coding them in with this tool:
