I do a lot of cross tables and other visualizations with lots of 'Columns' that are custom expressions, and often I have to go through them and make changes to one or more than one of the expressions. It would be really helpful to have a button in the dialogue box that just applies the changes I've made without closing the window. This way I could see what the values change to in the cross table (or other viz.) and then continue making changes to others.
Very useful feature for us when creating a complicated expression as well.
