The Spotfire Actions functionality is great when a business user spots something and wants to manually invoke an action such as sending an email, or raising an issue in a ticketing system etc.
TIBCO Integration can also be used to automatically invoke actions when something happens without requiring any human intervention. That typically requires work by an integration developer.
It would be great if it was possible for a business analyst to use Spotfire to identify a condition (e.g. if an SLA is breeched) and pick (a predefined) action to be taken automatically if that condition was met.
