How to put our template into "sample analysis" listing?

Pls refer to the attached image.
We like to have a template of url linkages for internal/external videos/documents.
We figured out that we can do it by doing the below steps:-

1. Placing the desired template under C:\Program Files (x86)\TIBCO\Spotfire\7.11.0\Modules\Sample Files_46.5.16928.3514

2. configuring the file "SampleFileConfiguration.xml" which locates under the same path and add a tag for the new template as below:-
<sampleFile>New Shortcut Template.dxp</sampleFile>

However, Is there any other way to do that without playing with the installation of Spotfire client installation files?

Can this be a feature request for TIBCO to allow this somehow in the Spotfire Client UI?

As the TIBCO support team said, As per the current TIBCO Spotfire design we do not have an alternative option to maintain the custom templates in the "sample analysis" of UI.
