The new library versioning feature, which is a critical and sensitive set of capabilities that has a large effect on the content in the library, has minimal documentation. Our library has 30,000 DXP files in it, and we do not know how to apply / use versioning properly. The CLI descriptions are just about nonexistent, have NO EXAMPLES, and do not discuss ramifications of their application. For something as critical as library content, this is not acceptable.
We have disabled versioning.
We will not enable versioning until we have a very clear and thorough understanding of how versioning and the CLI functions work. Just too risky. There should be a full section in the doc on versioning that reflects its importance! Trial and error is not how we want to go about learning about and implementing versioning.

Hi JP,
We have added several more examples for the CLI usage in the docs. For example, for delete-library-versions, and Deleting old versions of files in the library.
We will take this comment into consideration and we will provide more examples when adding new CLI functionality.
Is this what you were expecting or is any other version history aspects where you think more documentation is needed?
