Customer has many end users (around 100) and all of them are connecting to a shared server(1.5TB memory available) via RDP and using Analyst to analyze huge amount of data (up to hundreds of GB).
They want to set memory limit (by size of percentage of total memory size)on each Analyst process so that each Analyst process will not use up all available memory.
The data exceeds the memory limit can be paged out to disk by Analyst's paging mechanism so that it won't end up with an out of memory failure.
They also want to set this memory limit locally or globally so that admin can set it once for all.

The limitation for each analyze is the memory of labtop (RDP) for me...
To limit the memory used the mode direct connection in database.
In my case we used only in memory mode and when the analyze opened in another server - node manager [webplayer] (we have capacity to limit the memory or cpu used).
I agree with you with RDP access, it's complicate to manage all users by session.
