There is a dashboard created a long time ago and the database connection is not accessible any more.
We want to just take the dashboard and use it with a different database before we reach the DB, but as soon as we open the dashboard, the db credentials are asked and we cannot access the dashboard because we do not have access.
I think it should be possible to access the dashboard without accessing the database.
Using data connectors solution, does not help, when legacy was used years ago, and now gives a problem.
Yes it looks like TS-I-5376 could be used to the same effect. I will vote for that.

Note that this issue is only applicable when using the legacy data loading option for ODBC, OLE DB or ADO.NET data providers ("Files and data flyout" -> "Other").
We strongly recommend using data connectors, where you'll have the option to skip a data source when opening the analysis
Being able to skip connectors (maybe with a required Spotfire Group or Licence), would allow old dashboards to be accessible when infrastructure changes.
