I can easily generate visualizations using the Spotfire find tool, to visualize for example sales per product. But sometimes I may want to limit the data to only a certain Region. For instance "Show me sales per product for the western region". I may not want this to affect all visualizations, perhaps limit data by expression can be used to implement this.
