Better solution for the decimal separator for Excel in sharepoint custom connector

When opening Excel files with the SharePoint custom connector, the decimal separator is misinterpreted depending on the locale configured in the client. Different users could get different results when opening and viewing an analysis where Excel and custom SharePoint connector is used. (WebPlayer works fine because the server shares the locale with SharePoint, apparently).

Thanks for confirming Jørn. I will close this idea unless you disagree?

Great! I upgraded from version 21 to version 24 now, and I see that I am able to toggle between languages in my browser settings without that affecting the decimal separator in a negative way as it used to. Than you for the information :)

Version 22 (July 2023) of the SharePoint Custom Connector has updates to better respect the decimal separator for a locale. It sounds like you have come up with an issue. Please post a question on the TIBCO Community so we can figure out what the exact issue is. Thanks.
