One of the nice things about a graphical table is the ability to assign an Internal Action (NOT Spotfire Cloud Actions) to an item. For example, I can make a graphical table that when you click on an icon, navigates to another page. Handy for things like creating drilldowns for scorecards!
We've had a number of scenarios where users want to recreate this functionality in other visualization types -- to trigger navigation when data is marked in a treemap, for example. Currently, they have to create an action control to add a button to a text area to do the navigation. But this means the navigation action is disconnected from the desired trigger (requires an extra click), clutters the display and is subject to incorrect usage by users, especially if different actions are needed.
Would like to see graphical table-style Actions (again NOT Spotfire Cloud Actions) available in other visualization types - KPI chart, treemap, cross table, etc.
