Client SSO login without opening an external browser window

As currently configured, SSO client sign-on seems to require popping open an external browser window to handle the OIDC authentication. Can this be handled by Spotfire internally instead? This will improve the user experience - no more accumulated browser windows stating "Authentication successful This window can now be closed.".
