Support IronPython Script for Data Export to Excel in Spotfire Web Player

Currently, IronPython scripts that export data to Excel work seamlessly in the Spotfire client version but do not function when used in the Web Player. This limitation poses a significant challenge for users who rely on automated data exports from table visualizations to Excel, especially when using the Web Player as part of their workflow.

Idea:

I propose that Spotfire should extend support for IronPython scripts that export data to Excel to also function in the Web Player. This could be best achieved by the ability it would be beneficial to provide the ability to trigger the native Export to Excel function via the Spotfire API. This enhancement would enable users to leverage their existing scripts and automate the export process regardless of the platform they are using.
