The file open dialog gives a readout of the steps taken with a running timer for each. Unfortunately, the data is useless. It does not aggregate the total time, and it drops values of the intermediate steps.
I personally watched a file load in several minutes, but Spotfire tells me it took..... one second?
I appreciate the effort here, but the implementation is wrong, and not useful at all.
Hello, please submit a support case if you believe the load times are not accurate so we can have engineering investigate. Regarding the aggregate total time, this was an intentional decision that was made due to certain processes executing in parallel; we opted for the copy to clipboard option so users can look at the data however they need.
