Manually Setting the Row Column Display of a Trellis

When using the Row Column setting for a trellis, the display becomes distorted when there are a large number of items, so I'd like to be able to set it to make it easier to see. I'd like to be able to set the number of panels vertically and horizontally in the Row Column mode as well.
