Using Open source Octave as an alternative to Matlab

I been working with a programing tool called Octave. The language is almost identical to basic Matlab. The discriminating difference is that Octave is open source and free. Octave offers similar performance efficiencies to Matlab.

stop data function execution from web player

We'd like to stop data function execution from web player. The same can be done on Analyst(open progress dialog by clicking icon at the bottom right corner) but it's not possible for web player.
