Email Notification for Failed\Completed Scheduled Update Status.

I need to enable email subscription for scheduled updates status to the uses, like if it is completed successfully, it should send the successful notification to user, if it fails the failed notification to the user, is there a way with spotfire we can do that, like using automation services etc.
