Would be nice if this capability could be driven by markings as well. For instance, if you marked high-level data in one smaller visualization, it could expand the size of a related detailed visualization, drawing attention to granular data only when needed.
To expand on Hector's comment, it would be awesome if the details visualization can be configured to either be a tooltip (pop-up) or the default behavior (expanded once master visuals are marked)
Agree with Niket. Not just Text but all visuals. I specifically would like to leverage this for "Detailed Visualizations" that show no data (blank) and minimize/collapse them and have the other visuals take up all the real-estate until a detail is selected which would bring up the detailed image and shared the screen and/or swap with the driving visual.
Not just the text area but also other visualizations so that they can be stacked on top of each other and expanded when required with a more responsive design.
Niket, Hector: I would assume the main use case here would be to make a text area with a set of filters and configuration options hide after you made your settings, in order to save the screen-space?
And have access to the API via IronPython.
