Sales as line chart, missing values behavior

Due to minimalistic visualization, instead of barchar we are using a line chart with steps.   however when missing values, eg no sales day, we can only make the line to brake, but not to go to zero.  maybe an option to allow us to choose the behavior of missing values will help up.
