Currently, creating a pivot table requires the entire source table to be used for the pivot when I frequently would only like a specific subset of data to be pivoted. An option to use a custom expression to filter the data prior to pivoting would be useful to prevent the undesired generation of large numbers of useless columns that then need to be deleted or handled in some way.
