OOTB support for Java based Data Selection Application Layers

As a Data Administrator, I would like to be able to pull datasets using a custom JDBC driver (Helium JDBC - Custom implementation by StateStreet) from a Java baesd Data Selection Application Layer between Oracle Database and Query results. The middle layer is referred to as Enterprise Service Platform (ESP).
