new Column Properties: need to select the active table.

The new Column Properties, when activated via the menu, needs to go to the table behind the currently active visualization (as I believe it used to do), instead of forcing the author to scan to find the needed table first. We have users with dozens of tables in their analyses "complaining" that there are now extra steps and can be problematic to use.

This is a simple fix that will have a large effect.
