In previous versions (x- 7.5?) you could change colors from the map chart legend while existing markings were maintained. After mark from map chart legend was introduced that functionality began overriding the ability to change colors. In the attached video you will see that I have to re-mark my categories after I change colors from legend and marking is lost. Now I have to go into the properties menu rather than change colors from the legend. We have a lost the ability to change colors without multiple clicks.

We could not replicate this issue. We think it was a bug that was fixed quite a long time ago. I therefore mark this idea as implemented.
