Postgres support for Spotfire Server database

Reading release notes we see that postgres is not supported as database for spotfire server. Please consider to add that capability to spotfire server, especially for lower env (dev, test).

    Spotfire 10.9 adds support to PostgreSQL as Spotfire DB.

    PostgreSQL versions 11 and 12 are supported. PostgreSQL version 12 is the latest stable version. PostgreSQL version 11 is the latest version supported by the major Cloud providers.

      One of my Customer is considering moving away from Oracle, an alternative Open Source Database like Postgress SQL would be a good option for them.

      Just to add, I totally agree. We want to move to the cloud and the cost of Oracle/SQL Server is a barrier. Postgres or MySQL support would solve this.

      Many organisations are moving their applications to cloud platforms.

      They do not want to manage Oracle nor SQL Server licence costs in their cloud platform. 

      Postgres would be an ideal option for this requirement.

    Spotfire Server is necessarily Spotfire database . Spotfire database is only Paid Product. I want to use open source database .
