Filtering datasource file before importing

It would be great to be able to filter data in text/Excel files on import.
The current possible workaround is not very efficient.
Have the ability to directly create a filter (the same way that's done on Excel for example) in the 'Import settings' window when using an external file used as a datasource before importing datas in Spotfire.
Having filters applied as editable parameters would be even better.

    There was a Filter Rows transformation added in 10.1.
