Loading Queue Concept - Instead of harsh timeout/loading circle, users want to see progress

One of the issues and challenges we've constantly faced with users is that they don't see any feedback from the system if the reports are loading. By just having a spinning circle without any progress indicator, the users are unaware of what is happening, and our technical support team gets complaints that things aren't loading.

In addition, based on the configuration of database connection, users who are waiting in the queue (until a free connection is open) will get the same spinning logo. Currently for an on-demand report, the get 60 seconds (the default) before they get a disconnect error.What we want to request as enhancement is the option/ability to push out this sort of information: imaging a waiting room and a ticket system: the users will see that they are X users out of Y in queue.

They may not necessary be served right away, but it's a much clearer explanation to the users the state of the report, and provides discussion points if they are not happy with the wait.Please see if this is an enhancement request that should be filed for all version of Spotfire. If this is a feature that is available for any given version we would want to take advantage of this immediately.
