In the visualization, be able to replace the label with another code. Eg at label rendering level. THis way long strings in a category axis can be visualized with a short code Merged

Eg if I want to split each hour's values up into the modality category (vessel, truck, rail) these terms take space on the screen. If I can have them replaced at visualization level by V, R or T it saves display real estate.
