When trying to import data tables into a Spotfire project from a cube connection, it's important to limit the amount of data coming in. Under "Add Data Tables" -> Add -> "Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services" -> "Data Selection In Connection", if you select a measure and try to limit the data in the Settings, all of the entries are pre-selected, with no option to "Select All" or "Deselect All" or anything that would remotely speed that process up. Manually clicking each entry is largely time consuming and fairly frustrating. We've resorted to pulling our data from our cube via Excel and re-importing that data table through Spotfire because of how cumbersome the process currently is for being able to work with cube data in spotfire (ie: use it for calculations). There really should be some system in place to make selecting and narrowing that data down easier.
