Enable Custom SOQL for the SalesForce connector

The current connector (7.10) only allows 2K rows from SFDC reports. In order to get around this, one must execute custom SOQL (SFDC SQL). The custom SQL is grayed-out for this connector.  Importing entire SFDC tables is not an option; for large companies this, and entire table can be millions of rows and take a very long time to load.

This is pretty frustrating as there are free ODBC drivers with other tools that do not have this report row limit although the ODBC is not compatible with SPOTFIRE.  Is this really a SIMBA driver limit or version issue?

Bypassing this limitation would be great! There are too many parameters to be filled out by a user if one queries the tables directly (2 or 3 parameters per table at least).  Currently the best solution is the use OS R (RForcecom CRAN package). I haven't had success with TERR 4.3 using this package, but I supposed RinR can be used. Nevertheless, you need TSSS and OS R installed.

It's in our direction to bypass this limitation. Meanwhile, would it be feasible to go directly towards the tables and use prompts to limit data volumes?
