Load dashboard without loading data Merged

All i want to do is switch between embedded data to link to source on a dashboard that is 800MB large.  Takes 15 min to load the dashboard for a simple radio button change.  Can i load the dashboard without loading the data, or only loading a small portion of the data, for these types of quick changes?
