Amazon has just announced that their Aurora database will be able to work across Availability Zones, with Multi-Master Aurora.
This is a critical development for orgs having a global enterprise, and use the Cloud. This means that Spotfire Databases (Libraries) in multiple AZs - regions can be kept in sync. We can stand up complete Spotfire stacks in multiple regions to give better performance,. and benefit from having their Libraries local to each AZ, and in sync with other Libraries. We have wanted this for years, and it looks like Aurora will deliver this capability.
If TIBCO wants to further their Cloud penetration they really need to look closely at Aurora and support it as one of the official product databases.
thank you!
