Fix bug with deleting columns and tables

I had two tables, Table B had a calculated column from Table A.  I deleted the calculated column from Table B, and deleted Table A.  My Data Tab still shows Table A, even though it is no longer listed in Data Table Properties. Also, Data Table Properties Source Information still lists Inserting the deleted column.  How do I truly delete this column and data table?  Why does deleting the table and column not really delete them?
