The information designer allows you to union two data sources, say two SQL views, but you can only do this if the views are the same size, which is a huge limitation. For example, I have two tables -- Header 1 and Header 2. One as 100 columns and the other has 50 columns. I want to create a unioned table with 3 common columns from both tables, but I cannot do that in the information designer as it is today. Instead, I have to build separate information links and insert rows OR use a tool like Alteryx.
Wow, apologizes for the typos...should have proofread better.
