bar chart data table as visualization

Often, bar chart values are not displayed in a bar chart eg due to too many bars. I'd like a visualization type that allows me to display a percentages bar chart in the form of eg a pivot table. So, displaying the data of that bar chart, but in numbers instead of graphical bars.
