In version 7.9, when you edit a column name, after the edit, the UI jumps to the top of the list. This is incredibly annoying anytime you want to edit more than one column name because then you have to scroll back down to where you were in the list or scroll/search for the next thing to edit. You can't just go down the list and edit column names quickly. Very annoying and time-consuming.
This issue was resolved somewhere between 7.9 and 7.12. I am in 7.12 now and I do not see the behavior anymore. Let's say you have a big table, with 50 columns. I want to rename the last 3 columns in the list, so I scroll down to the bottom of the list. After renaming one of the columns, Spotfire would jump to the top of the ilst. Then I would have to scroll down again and again and again....that's what was happening. I do not see this anymore.
Hi Julie. Can you clarify with a screenshot what UI you are experiencing this behavior in? If possible a video would be even better and ensure that we see the same thing as you are seeing.
