UX: Enhance Text Box formatting for novice users

  • Novice users should not have to edit HTML to change line spacing in a text box (from <P></P> to <br>) or to align content inside a html table. These should be out-of-the box imo.
  • Line break tags <br> should be used by default instead of paragraph tags <P></P>
  • The text box should also have pre-packaged JS scripts for creating an accordion drop-down, expand/collapsing content, etc.
  • Button colors/styling should be more flexible
  • Background colors should allow gradient colors and transparency
  • Background Images should have a auto-fit feature for size
  • HTML Editing, Edit Text Box, and Visualization Properties should not be 3 separate menus, but rather tabs within the same menu. (If you go to wrong menu, several clicks to exit and go back in to the correct menu... sometimes playing "guess-and-check" with myself to find the right menu)
  • Text boxes should be allowed to hover/overlay other parts of the dashboard
  • Attach files
