In line plots, if a certain set of data points is highlighted by selecting, for example, the corresponding entry in the legend, the line is moved to the foreground such that it is not obstructed by other lines.
In a scatter plot with line connections, if a certain set of data points is highlighted, the data points are brought to the foreground, but the line connections are not. In cases where scatter points are quite small, this makes it almost impossible to see the currently selected line if it is still covered by another set of data points.
It would be good if the behaviour was the same as in a line plot, i.e. both the marks as well as the line connections of the currently highlighted set of points are brought to the foreground.
I'd really like an answer to this as well.......back to the ssearch engines!
