Monitoring of Row Joins

It would be great be able to see what is happening to the table when rows and columns are being added.  I would like to see the number of rows/columns before and after the join to be able to check for poor joining that results in expanding the table.  Also, maybe a warning for when rows and columns are being to confirm that is the intended impact on the data table.
