I have created multiple Filtering Schemas in Spotfire Analyst, but when consuming analysis via Spotfire Web Player, the ability to apply the filter schemes as needed is not available. This would be extremely helpful, since different users consumer the analysis may opt for different filter schemes on the provided data.
Implemented in | 14.1 |
Spotfire 14.1 introduces a new filtering schemes panel to manage filtering schemes and allows displaying and switching filtering schemes from the filter panel in the web client.

For a prepared dashboard for a read-only Consumer would be useful to add a button to change between filtering schemes using https://community.tibco.com/s/article/How-to-Set-the-FilteringScheme-in-Current-Page-in-TIBCO-Spotfire-Using-IronPython-Scripting. But for Business Author or Consumer edit mode there should be the possibility to switch between filtering schemes without such a script.
This is absolutely essential, a deal breaker for our subscription if I can't do this as no one on our BI team works from a windows machine.
Agree that this is absolutely essential
or at least show a label for the filter scheme. How are users supposed to know if their filters are affecting just one page or multiple pages? This is a pretty big miss
