Text Area action to "Deselect All Values" in a filter

  Starting with Spotfire 14.0 LTS, some of the functionality from the right-click menus that are available in the Filters panel and in the Data in analysis flyout are now available also for filters in the text area, enabling report users with easy access to additional filter-specific capabilities in the text area, such as the possibility to reset a filter, or to deselect other values in a hierarchy filter.

  Also customer created the same idea https://ideas.tibco.com/ideas/TS-I-7309, so may be we can remove this or merge.

  This was the request from customer and their reason

  You will notice that even in the main filter panel area if the filter is not that of "check Box" then it becomes grayed out. 
  
  There are instances one want to toggle all filters out with one click just as there are instances where one wants to toggle the filters on. Therefore if the ability to toggle on all filters on is available in "Reset All Filters", Same should be available for the opposite.

  Shandilya, many thanks for contributing your idea. Can you please elaborate on what "deselect all filters" should do? Like, would it deselect all checkboxes in all checkbox filters, deselect all items in all list boxes etc? Not sure it would be very useful?

Currently we have the ability to create a button that "Reset All Filters" in the Test Area. But we need a similar button to do the opposite. I note that the main Filter menu "Deselect All Values" works fine but not everytime the developer want the user to see the main filter menu plus it is not available in the web player version that the user uses. Even though there is the ability to use an IronPython script, I think it is better to make this functionality available in the text area buttons. Please note that the text area is an area where one can make a single dashboard to meet the needs of various sections of a department so you don't want the user to activate all buttons by the "Reset All Filters" button and go back to clear all one by one before setting for another dashboard display.
