Spotfire Server - Migrate certificate information and more from previous server.xml file

During an upgrade of Spotfire Server from 7.11 to 10.3, the upgrade tool reset several settings within the server.xml file, and among them, the certificate name (file extension) and type. The upgrade tool was able to copy over the certificate files to the correct folder. Great if the certificate file name (extension) and type was kept over (among with other settings, like ports if there is a URL rewrite rule). This would ease the upgrade processes for TIBCO Spotfire Server upgrade process.

    Hi Xavier,

Sorry, my fault. The feature is not completed.

What we fixed was the ability to combine the built-in cacerts trust store with a custom trust store, thus eliminating the need to modify cacerts - and to carry those modifications over when upgrading.

The remaining job to do in the Upgrade Tool for carrying over certain settings in the server.xml will be implemented soon.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Thanks Xavier.

We are in the process of defining which common custom settings shall be kept on upgrades. I noted your input.
