To improve collaboration, Store Lists in the same way Bookmarks are stored.

Spotfire allows two methods to store the knowledge users generate when they assemble lists:

  • Spotfire lists work great for single users, but are not good for collaboration.
  • Tags allow for sharing list information, but require re-saving the DXP to the database, which doesn't work for large groups working with complex DXPs.

A service should be available to share lists in the same way bookmarks are shared.  Lists are an important way for our users to share the knowledge they have generated.  Currently we have a jury-rigged system to save this information to the database, but it requires a lot of maintenance
